Description

This is an area with a long coastline, very clear water and not particularly known to the visitors. The beach is sandy, thin and in a lower level that the access road. The pines literally hang above the beach creating a dramatic sensation.

Useful tips

  • There is a road along the beach from Athena Palace Hotel to Lagomandra. However, parking is difficult as most of it is private due to the many hotels and apartment houses along the beach.
  • The beach is narrow in its most parts. If you want more space, prefer the north part just before Athena Palace and the “Mikri Elia” (small elia), just before Lagomandra.
  • The sea is in a lower level that the road. You may get down by using paths and stairs that provide access to the beach.
  • The beach is not organized. You may eat or enjoy a drink in one of the hotels in the area. A well known restaurant is “Boukadoura”, close to Elea Village Hotel. There is also a very good restaurant inside Mytari Camping.
  • Please always collect your litter before leaving the beach.
