Spathies Beach:

Spathies is located just after Kalogria beach. Its main feature is a rocky shore with little bays and sea caves.

Description

A relatively unknown beach that offers an amazing composition of rocks, sea and pine trees. It is located south of Kalogria beach and it has two little bays. The first bay has a mainly rocky shore and a small sandy beach in its south east. The second bay has a bigger beach with warm shallow water.

Useful tips

  • The first bay is easily accessible by car. From Kalogria just continue straight on the beach road and you will soon meet Spathies. If you are coming from Nikiti through the main road, turn right when you see the sign "Spathies Beach".
  • The first bay has limited parking space.
  • The second, bigger bay does not have easy access. You should leave your car away and go on foot unless you had an all-road car.
  • The water is calm most of the time. The rocks are good for diving and exploration.
  • The beach is not organized. There are no bars, restaurants etc. You may only swim and enjoy the sun.
  • Please always collect your litter before leaving the beach.
